Frequently asked Test Prep questions

What makes The House's test prep different from other programs?

The House offers a unique, personalized approach to test prep that focuses on individual learning styles, strengths, and areas for improvement. Our program includes a comprehensive diagnostic exam, one-on-one tutoring sessions, and customized study plans, all delivered by highly qualified tutors with advanced degrees and extensive teaching experience.

What is included in the free diagnostic ACT or SAT exam?

Our free diagnostic exam is a full-length practice test that simulates the actual ACT or SAT testing experience. Following the exam, students receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance, highlighting strengths and pinpointing areas for improvement. This serves as the foundation for creating a tailored study plan.

How long does the test prep program last?

The duration of the test prep program varies depending on the student's starting point, goals, and how frequently they attend tutoring sessions. After the initial diagnostic exam, we recommend a personalized timeline that best supports the student’s needs and optimizes their preparation.

What results can we expect from The House's test prep program?

Students who fully engage with our test prep program often see significant improvements in their test scores. Our tailored approach not only enhances test performance but also builds confidence and academic skills that benefit students beyond the ACT or SAT.

Our Testimonials

Brooke was absolutely over the moon with the session. She said the ACT tutor is amazing and she already learned a lot. I think you found the perfect person to take her where she wants to go. She was already working on her ACT practice today so he clearly inspired her to dive right in. This is going to be a great match.

Cassie G. - Wilmette, IL

Our son’s shock and joy over how far he came from his first ACT score confirmed that our choice for tutoring was what ultimately lead to his success. Building a bond is what makes The House successful - it builds relationships. And this is why I would never consider another tutoring company. Thank you to everyone for their dedication to helping our son realize his potential for success.
