MICRO-SCHOOLING: HELP YOUR STUDENT THRIVE

Micro-schooling PODS are here!

Not quite ready to send your student back to school? You are not alone.

Micro-schooling PODS from The House are a unique solution. Our tutors will support your student and enrich the school curricula with dynamic discussions and innovative learning opportunities.

PODS for Any Grade

The House can create a custom POD based on your specific requirements, for students in any grade to provide academic support together with that vital social/emotional experience that is missing from remote learning.

The House High School PODS also serve as customized study halls for students working together with a tutor on-hand to assist with homework and concept mastery.

Micro-schooling PODS are not a one-size-fits-all solution, however, we have found these guide posts are helpful:

  • PODs meet in two-hour increments and as many times a week as parents choose
  • Schedule as few, or as many sessions as you'd like per week
  • Recommended 2-4 students per POD, ideally in similar classes
  • A minimum of two consecutive hours is required per session
  • The price is $65 per hour, per child, so each POD session is $130 per student

Parents and students together often prefer to “pick the POD”, but The House can also help find POD-mates for students.

  • Track and ensure academic progress
  • & so much more
